The eating plan

I remembered the doctor mentioning 3 protein shakes, 300 calories each, so I think he was talking 900 calories. So I guess my goal is 800-900 calories per day. I plan to do this by eating the 4 NS foods, and adding a very limited amount of low-cal things into the plan. I have some egg beaters that I divided into servings of approximately 40 calories. I will try to have a salad every day. Usually at lunch is when I'm hungrier so it'll end up there I'm sure. It has yesterday and today for sure. I think the dinners are a little more filling than a packet of chicken salad or a small bowl of chicken noodle soup. I've made some sugar free jello that I can have if I feel like I'm that hungry and lettuce with Walden Farms dressing is also practically nothing. So, here's what Sunday looked like:

Breakfast:
NS pancakes (120 calories + 30 calories milk, 150 calories) (w/ICBINB spray)
1/4 C egg beaters (40 calories)

Lunch:
NS Cream of Broccoli soup (160 calories)
Lettuce (10 calories)
small amount of lite ranch (approx 40 calories)
shredded cheese (80 calories)

Dinner:
NS Thick crust pizza (280 calories)

Dessert:
NS cheese and garlic pretzels (140 calories)

Whoa! That was EXACTLY 900. I bet I couldn't do that again if I tried. I thought I had a few to spare. I see now how important it is to write things down.

Today's breakfast was the same, and the lunch is NS chicken salad on lettuce with the light ranch (no melba toast) so I'm saving 120 calories over yesterday's lunch.

When I followed NS, I was often "short" my add ons, but never this short. It's hard to do it this way. At least then, too, I always knew that I COULD have them if I got hungry. It was definitely easier to start this while Justin is gone. Hopefully, I'll be inspired by lots of weight lost by the time he gets back. But if I haven't lost a lot of weight I will know to stop doing this before I ruin my metabolism further.

Julie asked me this morning if I had a degree, which I don't. I'm guessing that's gonig to play a part in whether or not she can get me the money I asked for. So, I'm not getting my hopes up too far.

Sounds like you're off to a good start!! (Remember that ICBINB spray has calories LOL - 10 per every 12.5 squirts according to the person I spoke with at their consumer line - or as I like to say 20 per every 25 sprays).

Yeah, I kept it to 5, so it's less than 5 calories. I know I can't pour it on!
