On the right track

Well, I was hoping for 1.5 per week, and for the 2nd week in a row I got it!!!!

Ok, so here's a list of what I did right. I stuck to my eating plan. I stayed low-carb no matter what obstacle was sent my way. The girls went for Mexican at lunch, I ate a salad, the family went for Chinese, I went along and had a diet coke and ate at home after. So, that's all good.

Here's what I could improve on. Water....I drank some, but not nearly enough, and none at all on the weekend. Hmm, I need to set a goal on that. How about 6 glasses during the week and 4 on the weekend? I guess that's a good start. Exercise....I did zilch. So, that's definitely an area I'd like to improve. My boss and I went to excercise on break today, so that's a step in the right direction. Even if I increased to one break a day (15 minutes) that would be an improvement in that area. So, I guess that's the goal, 15 minutes at least 6 days this week.

If I do all that, could I possibly see a loss of 2 this week? That would be super. I'd love to score a couple of 2s so that I could really see that 75 lbs gone by my trip and by my friend's wedding. That gives me 2 big goals to work toward. Hmmm, 1.5 per week would put me at another 9 gone by Christmas, but wouldn't it be cool to get another 10? I think so, so I'm going for it! I put a ticker up top to help me keep track. Maybe that will motivate me.

    Looks like you're on your way again. I'm happy that you finally got some validation. We all need that. Keep on going and good luck with the goals this week.

    I too am struggling most with water and exercise! And I love exercise so it is frustrating that i can't get in the habit. I am walking to and from work again! Keep up the great work Val! we can do this!

    Karon-Thanks for your support. I couldn't do it without all of my friends here.

    Michelle-What is wrong with us? We need to get in gear! I don't like exercise though, so that's always been my problem.
