I GOT IT!!!!!!

Ok, here's a big surprise:

I was formally offered the job today. I even got most of the money I was asking for. I'm looking forward to having a little extra money coming in. The only down side is I can't move until they hire someone else and that person gets trained. I guess it's a good thing I accepted the offer considering the announcement was made that I was taking it happened even before my interview.....The waiting for a replacement is frustrating though. UGH!

Anyway, I'm a happy camper. And I'm not going to celebrate by eating even though I want to! Old habits die hard.

    Congrats. Lucky you. Lucky me. In my case I get the job but have to do my old one and my new one for like forever - and yes I get to hire a new person to replace me and one to replace HT but we still have to be involved in our prior roles. Still the money (when we find out what it is) will be nice.

    Woo Hoo. Good for you. Way to go on the money issue!! You deserve it. I am totally with you on the celebration with food. I am glad you are trying to be strong and not give in to the old bad habit.

    Jamie-Thanks for the good wishes. I got to chat after you left. I'm doing some crazy pet sitting for extra money and I had to go meet with the people.

    Yea! Congratulations on the job, honey. I'm so happy for you. I can understand not liking having to wait but at least you know it won't be forever.
